Buying used car - dealer's warranty compared to Consumer Rights Act 2015
I'm buying a used Citroen C4 Grand Picasso from a dealer. They have offered a three month warranty; however, given that the Consumer Rights Act 2015 covers me for six months, do these warranties actually add value (i.e. cover faults not covered by the Act)?

The dealer is liable for any significant faults that could have been present or developing on the date of sale for six months from the date of sale. A warranty can not cover such faults because by definition they were present before the warranty was taken out and you cannot insure against an existing situation.
