Why won't my Ford Mondeo start?

My Ford Mondeo stopped working recently. It was diagnosed as faulty fuel pump. However, despite the pump being changed, the car still won't run. When you turn it over it starts but then cuts out, there is also very little pressure to the fuel rail, fuel filter has been checked and is ok. Any ideas?

Could be that the fuel tank sender pump was replaced but not the high pressure fuel pump.
