How do taxi firms get around DPF problems?

I'm considering purchasing a used Renault Trafic, although my question is about DPFs in general. So to start regeneration you should be driving motorway speeds to achieve high exhaust temperatures, how do in city fleets like taxis & local delivery vans solve this problem as some firms never travel on motorways?

Addison Lee solved it by changing the oil in their fleet of Galaxy diesel automatics every 5,000 miles. Then they didn't get DPF problems. Can't guarantee it will work for everything, but it worked for them. If you feel the DPF actively regenerating (getting hot and smelling hot) do not switch off the engine until that cycle is complete.
