Dashboard symbol for DPF regeneration?

Is it possible to retro fit my 2011 Ford Kuga 2.0TDCI with a dashboard symbol that will warn me when the ECU triggers a DPF regeneration, so that I know not to switch off the engine till it has finished?

I've never heard of such a thing, but you should be aware of it when you open the door of your car. Lot of heat and a burning smell. The other way to tell is to leave the fuel consumption meter on instant and if it suddenly drops a few mpg, the DPF is regenerating.
