Faulty Hyundai Santa Fe - can I reject it?
I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe six weeks ago. The car broke down on the journey home and it was found to have delaminated brakes, bushes and crankshaft damping pulley movement. The dealer paid for the repairs except the crankshaft damping pulley as that was put down to fair wear and tear. Does this sound right? The dealer wants me to pay £455 to have it fixed. Can I reject it under the consumer rights act?

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 gave you 28 days to reject the car and 28 days have passed. But the dealer is still legally responsible for the crankshaft damping pulley because this fault preceded your purchase and Clegg v Olle Andersson (House of Lords 2003) gives you the right to reject the car or force the dealer to fix it.
