Why does my Peugeot 807 keep stalling?

We have a 2006 2.0-litre petrol automatic Peugeot 807. It runs well and when plugged into a diagnostic machine there are no faults or issues. However, on occasion the throttle is unresponsive from standing and the car hesitates and has stalled on more than one occasion when trying to move off.

We have had it serviced and all filters replaced, along with a new exhaust fitted. Yet the problem continues, any ideas?

Often the fuel tank sender pump, its earth, or the sender pump relay or its earth.
