Peugeot 308 SW fault code - *Engine fault risk of filter clogging*

My Peugeot 308 SW (2012 model) has a problem. When I start up it flashes as *Engine fault risk of filter clogging*.

I've had the car serviced and a fault code - P1435 multiplexed additive pump fault - showed up. My mechanic recommended seeing how it goes for the next few weeks and if it's still there he can fit a new pump but says that may not get rid of it.

The car is driving perfectly well, I have covered approx 2000 miles since the problem first started. Any ideas?

You don't say how far you're driving the car. I've had 'depollution' warning come up after three short runs from cold starts with these cars. The answer was to take it for a 50 mile motorway run. I think your mechanic is on the right track. The Eolys additive pumps can fail. The DPFs can also fill up with ash and need cleaning out by the Ceramex process.
