My daughter's thirteen year old Skoda Octavia was rear shunted recently and has now been written off by the insurance company.

Now looking for a replacement she wants a two or three year old car from a main dealer for peace of mind rather than a private purchase.

Living in London the car will only be used in the evening and week-ends and she plans to keep it for at least five years or more.

With three growing boys aged five, 9 and eleven she is considering a Toyota Rav 4, Honda CRV or a Qushqai seven seater.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
