I'd like your advice on which two to three year old car to buy...

My daughter's thirteen year old Skoda Octavia was rear shunted recently and has now been written off by the insurance company.

Now looking for a replacement she wants a two or three year old car from a main dealer for peace of mind rather than a private purchase.

Living in London the car will only be used in the evening and week-ends and she plans to keep it for at least five years or more.

With three growing boys aged five, 9 and eleven she is considering a Toyota Rav 4, Honda CRV or a Qushqai seven seater.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Not a lot of room in the rearmost seats of a Qashqai and the centre of the centre rear seat is extremely uncomfortable. It actually gave me a back injury on a tedious 90 minute drive across Paris. A RAV-4 2.0i Valvematic Multidrive S or a CR-V 2.0i auto probably make the most sense.
