Warranty on a bulb?
My daughters Fiat 500 has lost its panel lighting across the left hand side of her heater and affiliated controls. The car is just under a year old and Fiat say it will take half an hour to fit a replacement bulb and it won’t be covered by warranty. Is this right? Are bulbs not expected to last a reasonable time – for example the first 12 months of ownership?

You can demand that the dealer who supplied the car replaces this bulb FoC and if he refuses, get that in writing, then have it fixed elsewhere and bill him for the cost. Your problem is that the cost of this job is likely to be so small it will not be worth taking to court.
