Bought a used car from a dealer, but it has no service history

Two weeks ago I bought an approved 2011 used Mercedes-Benz SLK and was told it had a full service history. I asked for the documents and eventually they provided them after a number of requests; however, they are not complete.

The manufacturer's website says service is every 10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever is the sooner, yet this car had its first service in 2012 after 16,000 miles. The second service happened in 2014, just a few days before my purchase.

I cannot believe that they misled me like this and assume I've overpaid as a result. What can I do?

Immediately reject the car as not "of satisfactory quality", not "as described" and because the dealership has contravened The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. Law here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/ Alternatively tell them to make you an offer you cannot refuse, such as a £5000 refund.
