Which car to replace my Nissan Primera Sport can tow a large caravan?

I have a Nissan Primera Sport (1988cc). I tow a Lunar Ultimar 462 MTPLM 1,210kg. I am looking for a small 4x4 to replace the Nissan. I am considering a Freelander 2, Hyundai i150 and Nissan Qashqai. I don't mind petrol or diesel but good fuel economy would help. A car that is 1-2 years old would be ideal. What do you advise?

I think you must mean a Hyundai ix35. That, or the equivalent KIA Sportage, would be a good choice. Both have the important advantage to a caravanner of a full sized spare wheel that is now becoming increasingly rare: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/hyundai/hyundai-ix.../
