Do I really need to change the dual-mass flywheel?
My 2004 Renault Scenic is due to have its clutch replaced and my local mechanic has recommended I replace the dual-mass fly wheel at the same time. Is this really necessary or is he trying to get more money out of me?

Pretty stupid not to because the huge cost of this job is separating the engine and gearbox, so while it's apart it's better to replace everything in between.
