Why won't my Daewoo Matiz start?
I'm at my wits end with my 2003 Daewoo Matiz. I bought the car with an alternator problem, which I fixed and the car started fine. However, after five miles, the battery drained and I discovered that the alternator belt had snapped. After replacing the belt the engine refuses to starts.
I’ve checked the car and it cranks, but there is no fuel at the injectors or at the plugs. There’s fuel right up to before it enters the manifold, but no further. The immobiliser security light also continues to flash when cranking.
What I have done so far is:
1) Tested crankshaft sensor
2) Checked all fuses
3) Checked all wiring and connection
4) Checked wiring under steering column for immobiliser looks ok.
I’m now lost as to what’s wrong. Can you help?

Not quite sure what has been happening, but before you do anything else,
1) Make sure the battery is now charged
2) Disconnect the battery and leave for five minutes
3) Reconnect the battery, BUT DO NOT switch anything on at all and leave for 30 minutes
4) Then try to start the car
By doing this it allows the ECU to reset itself, something it needs to do after a flat/replacement battery.
