What tyres should I fit to my Golf GTi to make the ride quieter?

I have a Mark V Golf GTi and need to replace two front tyres. The current tyres on the front are Dunlop SP Sport MAXX 225/40ZR18s, while on the rear they are Continental ContiSportContact 225/40 ZR18s.

While these tyres grip well, there is quite a lot of road noise, partly due to the tyres being low profile. What should I fit make the ride quieter?

The low profile of the tyres is the main reason for the noise. If you stick to the same tyre size you could try Michelin Pilot Sport 3s. Probably not a good idea to go down a wheel size and fit deeper profile tyres to a 200PS GTI.
