Need a used 4x4 with five seats - any recommendations?

We are a large children's home in a small village in Sussex. We currently have four cars, but now need a 4x4 to get the kids to school in the winter months. We have £7000 to spend, but don’t want anything too big, as the staff will find it difficult to park and manoeuvre. What do you recommend?

The 2001 - 2006 Honda CR-V 2.0i petrol automatic was the most MPV-like and most reliable part time 4WD. It has a flat floor enabling the driver to get out passenger side or walk through between the front seats to attend to people in the back. The diesel was not so reliable. Needs to be fitted with Goodyear Vector 4 Season tyres.
