Where can I go when the dealer says nothing more can be done?

My nine month old Volkswagen CC has been to the dealer twice with a knocking noise from the rear, but the mechanics say nothing can be done and I will have to put up with the problem.

I don't feel safe in the vehicle as it's getting worse and I don't want my children to be in the vehicle if something is going to happen to it that might endanger their lives. What can I do?

I'd guess that it is no more than part of the exhaust rear silencer system coming into contact with part of the suspension. I used to get this on Mk II GTIs. Unfastening the exhaust joint, twisting slightly and refastening might cure this.
