Which car allows for three child seats to be fitted across the rear seats?

I currently have two children under four and have another on the way. Could you advise of a car that will fit three child seats across the back? I am afraid I don't want a 'people carrier' and the cost of taxing and running a 4WD is frightening. Is there a car that can accommodate three seats properly?

The Peugeot 307SW and Peugeot 3008SW are the only cars with three separate rear seats and suitable anchorages. A Honda FR-V, a Ford S-Max, a Citroen Picasso or a Renault Scenic make more sense, though you can probably squeeze three child seats across the back of a relatively wide car such as a Mondeo or a Volvo S80. Not an Insignia, though. That has quite a cramped back seat. So does a 2004-2011 Audi A6. The new KIA Rio is one of the few small cars with three rear ISOFIX tethers and one for the front passenger seat.
