Weird instruments

I have noticed that when engine is switched off, the needles on the speedo and revcounter lift up for a second or two, and dash lights up, and then it goes back to normal. This seems to be draining the battery. What could be wrong?

It maybe that you have a problem in the dash panel ie dry joint etc. you could try investigating and also spraying with WD40.
