Manfacturer's warranty

Will Ford's three-year warranty be invalidated if my independent mechanic changes the engine oil before the first and between the annual services? I do about 15,000 miles a year and prefer to change the oil more frequently than wait for the annual service?

Also, if I supply the main dealer with the oil (Castrol Magnatec) can they refuse to use it?

As long as the oil and filter meet Ford's spec precisely (always used to be 5w/30 semi synthetic then I don't see a problem.
