My hood is becoming unstitched

I purchased my 2009 Audi A3 cabriolet used from Audi West London three years ago. Has done 25k miles and hood is furled almost every trip. Wear marks about to break threads of fabric and thus anticipate rapid deterioration to point of water ingress.

Audi Forum claims there have been quality issues. I guess it's at least worth bringing to attention of Audi, but not practical to return car to West London.

Worth a try, but likely to be deemed a wear and tear issue. Always a problem with convertible and rectification can be very expensive.
