Car storage tips please

I am storing my 2010 Mercedes-Benz 200CDi Blue Efficiency in my garage for six months. It's declared SORN. Should I have the engine run for 10 minutes or so every month, or does that do more harm than good?

More harm than good. But do hook up to a battery conditioning trickle charger to maintain the current in the battery that might be needed by some of the car's systems while it is sitting there. Also good to overpressure the tyres.
