Buying a Saab 9-3 now Saab is bust?

I recently test drove a SAAB 9-3 Vector Sport 1.9 TTID and was very impressed with the power - 180 bhp from a diesel car with only £30.00 road tax.

I am just after your advice on whether you would advise me to buy it as it was on an 11 plate with only 14,000 miles up for sale for £14,995.

I know the company have gone bust but the sales guy advised me that the SAAB service was the most profitable side of the company so they can still service the car, but no warranty would be given with it.

I could buy one for £400 for three years.

What should I do as I currently own a VW Golf GTI edtion 30 which is going to need the cam belt plus brakes changing which is going to be costly.

A network of servicing agents has been set up. But there are problems with the 1.9 diesel engine and I would not want these problems with an unwarranted car from a manufacturer that has gone bust. Not sure what parts availability will be like in the future.
