Hyundai ix35 or Audi Q3 - which should I go for?

Which would you recomend: the 1.7D ix35 Premium or the Audi Q3 2.0 TDI (base model)?

Can you let me know why one is better than the other

I want comfort, reliability, together with reasonable running costs.

The ix35 has a chain cam engine, is likely to be more economical and has a longer warranty. The Audi will hold its value better.
