Threatwork

Park Direct Ltd has now issued another Parking Charge Notice claiming a parking charge for £150. It seems my son parked for 2/3 minutes in a 'private' parking bay near Ealing Broadway station. Perhaps they are just trying it on. However, they do threaten they may take further action by way of a county court order. Any further thoughts would be gratefully rec'd.

Suggest that they do take the case to court and notify you of which court, which must be convenient to you. You will then attend the court and defend yourself against the unreasonable imposition of this ludicrous contractual penalty for 'parking' for 2 - 3 minutes on their property. Your alternative is the BPA’s pilot appeals scheme here: www.parkingforum.co.uk/adjudication_pilot
