Betta getta ESPer

I have just had the dreaded ESP light come up on my Ford Focus 2005 2.0TDCI. Fault code C1288. New part from Ford £1,300 plus VAT. Can get the abs unit reconditioned for £350? There are a few others online who are complaining about the costs of this repair on a 5-year-old car on a non-serviceable part.

It's rare on a Focus, but there is a cut price fix for £350 here: www.ecutesting.co.uk/ford_focus___c-max_abs_pump_m...l And here: www.sinspeed.co.uk ;
