Winter Tyres on a Nissan Qashqai

I am thinking of fitting winter tyres to my Nisaan Qashqai 1.6 N-Tec. The existing tyres are 215/55 R18s with rating of 99V. I am having great difficulty finding equivalent sized winter tyres. Can you recommend a solution?

Many thanks, I find your weekly articles invaluable.

It's on stupid 'bling' wheels and tyres. Switch to 16" wheels and get a set of tyres of equivalent rolling circumference (the dealer can advise, or just check a Qashqai on 16" wheels). Once fitted you will be amazed at the improvement to both ride and handling of the car.
