Chipping for fuel economy
Buying MB CLK 220 CDI. Should I get it chipped? Is there a downside to chipping? What should I expect by way of consumption and performance improvements?

www.superchips.co.uk Different programmes do different jobs. But you do need to inform your insurer and the hike in premium may cost you more than any benefit that you gain.
Real MPG enables you to register the fuel economy you are actually getting against your make and model of car, its engine and type of transmission.
Every time you enter an average consumption figure against your car, the overall average automatically adjusts to reflect it.

I would like to tune my 2004 BMW X3 2.0 diesel, which currently has 150PS. The racing chip will increase torque from 330 to 412Nm and raise output to 192PS. Do you think this will work with the X3?
