Excessive Tyre Wear

I bought a Renault Clio Dynamique S 1.2T new three years ago. It has been correctly serviced by the dealer since. I have just had to replace three tyres due to the inside tyre walls showing exposed reinforcement. The car has now therefore used a complete set of tyres in three years and in a little over 16,000 miles of use. (The fourth tyre was replaced earlier for the same reason).

I rarely encounter speed humps and the outer walls and tread areas exhibit no unusual wear.

What could be causing this?
