Import warranty

Have just taken ownership of a new Honda CR-V 2.2 Dtec from Motorpoint. At purchase Motorpoint advised that this car was an import from Gibraltar, so had only a two year manufacturers warranty. However in the warranty book with the car it only refers to a three year warranty albeit with shorter mileage periods between services.

I have therefore taken out an extended two year warranty with Motorpoint. However I am concerned that I do not appear to have any paperwork identifying the manufacturers two year warranty and I am uncertain how to go about resolving this ...any advice?

The warranty is usually contained in the service book. Speak to Motorpoint. The two year warranty will date from the first transaction involving the vehicle, so you won't actually get a 2 year warranty.
