Rust in peace
I own a 10-year-old Citroen Xsara which is in excellent condition and has been main dealer serviced from new.
I have just noticed some corrosion on the bottom edge of the drivers door, which I was about to treat with some Kurust and then remembered that there is a 12-year corrosion warranty on Citroens. One of the conditions of the warranty is that bi-yearly 'anti-perforation' inspections are carried out, but this is something I'd never thought to do. Could the full main dealer service history likely be taken as sufficient evidence of correct maintenance, or is there no point in asking?
