Should the dealer pay?

I bought a 2005 Saab Vector TiD (c, 43k miles) about a month (and 1,300 miles ago) from a Vauxhall Dealer, he provided a 3 month Dealership Warranty which has a single claim limit of £1,000.

I have taken it to a specialist Saab dealer and the diagnosis is a failed dual mass flywheel - the warranty company have accepted liability and are contributing to the cost of the repair (the total cost is over the single claim limit).

Upon removing the gearbox, The Saab Specialist now sees that the clutch and slave cylinder are both damaged and need replacement (a further £375 - no labour thankfully), the warranty company will not cover these additional repairs.

As both these faults were clearly developing when I bought the car, should the dealer cover the additional repair costs?
