Can you recommend a small car with no boot lip?
A friend needs a smallish petrol automatic (NOT an automated manual) which has no boot lip i.e. flat entrance to boot.

There are two ways to go here. If you need a boot opening that's low then a Honda Jazz is your best bet: its long bootlid means you don't need to lift things up very high to get them in the boot. If you don't mind that but simply need a low drop from the boot lip to the boot itself find a small car with a variable height boot floor. The latest Volkswagen Polo is an example of that.
