In Glass's guide, valuations are based on trade-in: exc. ave. below ave, then retail and private.

Where in the above would you expect auction prices to fit?

Trade or below. But depends on demand for used cares at the time. Guide prices can be set six weeks before an auction takes place and may be completely out of date by then.
