Small cars with the best legroom

Do you know which small cars offer the best legroom for drivers, something suitable for around town, odd trip on the A roads, and as a second family car?

The Mini has fantastic front legroom, but doesn't have the five doors which we require. Any other ideas?

On a 1,900 kilometre drive I noticed that the Mazda2 S2 has excellent front seats with long squabs.
