Skoda Octavia 1.5 TSI - is it susceptible to hesitation issues?

I have recently bought a 2018 Skoda Octavia 1.5-litre petrol with the DSG automatic gearbox. I have since discovered that this 1.5-litre TSI engine has been subject to some hesitation issues: https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/driving-1/2020-07/volkswagen-confirms-no-further-measures-planned-in-regards-to-15-tsi-issues/

Are there any warning signs to watch for, or have most of the problems been ironed out?

This is the latest we've heard from Volkswagen Group (who own Skoda): "As far as we are aware the software update has been a success and no further measures are planned. We are unaware of any current cases relating to the 1.5-litre TSI engine."

We still get a few complaints of issues but if yours is currently running fine, I'd be surprised if it showed symptoms in the future.
