How is water leaking into my car under the seat?

Why is there water under the rear seat of my Peugeot 206?

The water is probably getting in via the rear doors or the boot. Check the rubber seats on the doors for holes or cracks. Also worth checking the drain holes at the bottom of the doors - If they are blocked water can drain into the car. Finally, check the rear light clusters for cracks or holes. water can drip in via the taillights and settle under the rear seats.
