Can I retrofit power steering to a 1999 model?

I have a 1999 Toyota Yaris - the model without power steering. Is there a way to get power steering retrofitted? I really want this great runner to keep going. Thank you.

The power steering parts will cost between £100-£200. The work to have the power-steering fitted will be an additional £200/300. It might be worthwhile if you can do it yourself. Otherwise you'll be paying £500 to fit power steering to a car that's worth £700. I'm not sure it's worthwhile.
