Is my motorbike eligible for the MoT extension?

My motorbike is due an MoT at the end of May. I am isolating for 12 weeks due to having underlying health problems. Will I qualify for the extended six-month MoT if people are allowed back to work before then?

As no changes have been announced in regards to the MoT extension, the six-month MoT extension should apply as your MoT is due to expire after 30 March 2020. This extension applies to motorcycles, cars and light vans. According to DVLA, this will be done about seven days before the MoT is due to expire - but you will not get a new paper MoT certificate with the new expiry date on it.
