Misses hatcher

I wondered if you provide some advice. I plan to replace my 2005 BMW Mini Cooper. It has been back and forth from the garage with various faults and it cost £450 to get it through an MOT last year. I would like a car that is built well, a little more boot space, and that holds its value reasonably well. I spend a great deal of time in Cumbria and therefore it would have to be enjoyable on country roads as well as the motorway. I recently spent a long motorway journey in a colleague’s VW Passat and was very impressed. I have never owned a VW before but I really like the look of the VW Scirocco GT with a diesel engine. I also like the Audi A3. Is there anything else I should consider? My budget is approximately £20k - £25k.

Citroen DS3 1.6 THP 150 at £15,900 + extras. Clarkson loves it. I love it. Every tester seems to. Test and video:
