I can't trickle charge my car's battery, so what can I do to stop it going flat during the Coronavirus lockdown?
During the Covid-19 crisis, my MINI will remain stationary in my drive. I do not have access to a power point to connect a trickle charger, so what steps can I take to ensure the battery does not go flat?

The government advice is very clear - only drive your car if it's essential (ie to get food or medical supplies). If you're self-isolating, then you've really only got two options - disconnect it completely or worry about it when restrictions are lifted. If it's gone flat you can jump-start it using a jump pack or a set of jump leads attached to another car battery.
