Is an extended warranty worth while?

My Land Rover Discovery Sport is three years old at the end of January. Should I take out an extended warranty as offered by the Land Rover dealer.?

It depends on the price and the level of cover. As a minimum, I would expect it to cover the air conditioning, brake system components, clutch components, cooling systems, diesel particulate filters (DPFs), electrics, engines, gearboxes, sat nav system, flywheel, ignition, steering, turbochargers and suspension.

You might save money and get better cover by taking out an independent warranty. For more information, see:www.honestjohn.co.uk/cheap-car-warranties/
