VED (road tax) rates are adjusted in line with Retail Prices Index (RPI). As part of the Budget 2018, the rates were increased to match the RPI inflation rate. These came into force on 1 April 2019: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tax/budget-2018-key-poin.../
