I bought a car at auction but have discovered it has been clocked - where do I stand?
I have won a car at auction. Before making payment to the auction company I checked the car history and found that the car has been clocked. The original mileage from the last MoT shows 135,000 miles but the auction detail mileage was 62000 miles. I called the auction company and they said it is in their T&Cs that mileage is not guaranteed. My question is where do I stand now?

At an auction, you buy on the auctioneer's description, which is recorded. You do not buy on the catalogue description and that is made clear in the terms and conditions. If the auctioneer does not state that the mileage is warranted, you can assume that it isn't. If the auctioneer stated "62,000 miles warranted", then you have a case, otherwise, you don't.
