Will not having the emissions fix on my SEAT affect the MoT?

I haven't had the emission rectification work re: EA189 NOx carried out on my 2012 SEAT Leon as I read so many reviews where people had said it had left their cars with serious problems afterwards. My MoT needs carrying out in the next month, could not having the emissions work done affect my MoT?

No. But had you had the NOx fix done, any consequential problems for up to two years and 160,000 miles would have been rectified. EGR failure is very common on the EA189 1.6 TDI and many owners who had the fix have had these replaced FoC. Otherwise, the cost is around £750.
