What's the best security camera for my car when it's parked overnight?

Having had, for the second time, my car's nearside mirror destroyed, what would be the best aftermarket 360 security camera for overnight parked usage?

Assuming you mean on-street parking, you're going to face two main issues. First will be the power supply to the camera. We don't generally recommend things like dash cams be left plugged in overnight because they will drain your car's battery (and they won't be able to record very well in very low light conditions). Second is that there aren't many in-car cameras - aside from dash cameras. Whatever you choose needs to have the following three features though: decent video quality (preferably 1080p, but smaller cameras will likely only have 720p), a wide-angle lens and low light capability so you don't get too much glare off the windscreen and windows. You'll want something small too or someone could see the camera sat inside and break into your car to steal it.

The market for these sort of things isn't very big, so your best bet would be to look at a site like this that specialises in these cameras: www.spycameracctv.com/spycamera/mini-720-hd-spy-vi...d
