02 1.4 How do I change a rear fog lamp lens? - marc1
Hello,
please can anyone tell me how i can change my rear fog lamp lens, i have a crack in the presnt one drivers side rear, the lens is in the middle of the plastic bumper, it is not situated at the bottom of the bumper, the car is a 2002 model, i have looked at every way of getting the old one out but cannot see how you do this, i have purchased a new lens and am trying to change it before mot comes up!!!!!

Thanks for taking time to reply, my car is the same as in photo but the sxi model, when you say remove bumper,,can you tell me where to start removing scews etc, step by step quide would be most grateful,,I know its bank holiday so when you have time to reply would be good, thank you both again,,ann12

Isn't the lens in the bumper just a reflector with the rear fog light actually being up in the light cluster on the side of the tailgate?

if it looks like this then they are fog lamps in the bumper and it has to come of

open the tail gate there are some screws along the bottom edge of the boot iirc there is one each side where the bumper meets the wheel arch ten mm nut iirc insde te wheel arch and then there are some expanding rivets (plastic) pull or push the centre bits out

Typically the 4 fasteners inside the boot are star type not normal bolts so you'll need some with the correct tips before you start.
