Freezing conditions

Is it better to leave a 10 year old Skoda frozen, as it has been for 4 days so far, or to start it and let it run for 30 minutes or so? If so, how frequently? I do not want to drive down our slippery hill unless really necessary.

Leave it until the end of the week when the forecast says it should get milder. Then take it for a run of at least 10 miles to get everything warmed through.
