As the name suggests, the Citigo should be at home in an urban environment but it equally suits the 'Silversurfer' generation providing excellent economy, easy driving and parking. The real surprise is the room for the driver and passenger, nothing cramped and ample room for access for those with difficulty in bending. The rear seats are adequate for grandchildren, dogs and shopping but surely that is all we actually need , whilst the boot is also quite satisfactory for a week's shopping of 5 bags from Lidl.

In the town, the car is quiet, absolutely no-fuss, lovely light controls and everyone within easy reach - no stretching. The parking warning device is very clever, it also warns of objects at the rear corners whilst the absolutely straight back means no hidden overhang.

We live in a rural community and out on the road, the Citigo is perfectly capable of getting from A to B without any fuss, it is just as home in the countryside and in many ways more suited to small roads. Even motorways are without any problem, it is able to keep up with everything except the fastest traffic, certainly able to maintain 70mph.

What it will not do is pull a caravan or carrying anything really huge but that is not the point - it is a wonderful small car that simply oozes quality and comfort.
