Number 1 for a reason

This is the Number 1 car in the UK is user surveys for a reason.

To drive, it is extremely good. Speed in Sport mode is exhilarating (I don't usually have it in that mode as I prefer to cruise about); handling is superb (notably the turning circle); and the car is so, so quiet!

Add to this the advantage of the hybrid, which means in effect that much of your urban journey doesn't cost you any fuel at all. With the various other tax advantages, it is financially unbelievably affordable.

Mine was the first in Northern Ireland. It had some early problems with the software (linking phone to car etc), but these have been ironed out. Mine also has the excellent Connected Services, meaning you can send your journey to the car from your PC, tablet or phone in advance of getting into it, potentially for days or weeks ahead.

Storage is slightly limited in the back and boot space is adequate, but no competitor will be markedly better.

It is a real head turner too.

The car makes most sense in hybrid. You lose none of the performance, and gain the efficiency. Driving, it is not noticeable at all (aside from the silence!)

Throw in the usual Lexus care standards plus reasonable servicing prices (negotiable at purchase in the case of leases), and you have a remarkably affordable car with remarkably high performance and outstanding looks.
