Great car with its own 'quirks'

Now done 100,000 miles and its in remarkably good shape considering the work it has done previously (towing horse boxes, caravans etc).
Had to replace the usual ventilation blower resistor and now the power steering pump seems to be making a noise, but things not too bad so far. Fuel economy really quite good if you drive gently and engine works pretty well, but occasionally takes a few goes to start and you generally should not let the revs drop down too much in gear (not just to prevent laboring the engine, but to prevent it from running on 2 /3 cylinders - which had happened on occasion! [I managed to'reset' it by turning the engine off and starting it up again]).
Gearbox can be a bit of a handful and they are known a bit for this, but it works OK. Handling and ride - well its a bit vague and bouncy but it is quite comfortable really, and I didn't buy it for the handling!
